Adios 2008, Hola 2009!!

Time really does fly man.Pheww, what a year it has been. 2008 started with a bang for me as i knew its finally the year i ORD from army, and also the year where i can get my life back on track, study wise and in all other aspects. As we approach the end of the year in a couple of hours, i really want to blog about all the good times and bad times and at the same time leave behind 2008 with tons of fruitfull memories that will always be cherished close to me. Instead of typing all of these, i will put up important pictures and give explanations along the way.

Well my main aim in 2008 was to finish up my remaining 6 months in army. Some memories of my 2 years in National Service up till my ORD date

I kinda took up Dragonboating to keep my self fit so that i will have no worries after army. This are my brothers and sisters from PAWV(PA Water Venture). Dragonboat has also taught me that teamwork is the utmost important thing in a group. 1 HEART 1 SOUL, PA SA!!!

Well after my completition of National Service in June, i had a months break before i started another chapter in my life, which was going back to school and starting on my dipoma.

I was pretty nervous when i went to school on the first day because i would definitely be one of the older students and also its back to making new friends after 4 years. So i did not know how things will be and how the people will be. In my first semester i had lots of friends, but i was only close to 2 people, eventhough we were from different project groups i guess we bonded pretty well. The two are currently my groupmates and i really adore them.One was very quiet and soft whereas the other was just notorious alwas fighting with me.lol They are none other then.

And of course there is one other person, she joined us only in sem 2, but she immediately clicked very well with us and i can tell you, she is the funniest in our group, and also more of the peacemaker. Together with her, the PPG and MJ group was formed. That wonderful person is.

As a group we have all done well in our exmas and not forgetting the amount of words of encouragement i got from these guys when i was repeating 5 modules. They were very understanding and caring when it came to group work. At times its a bit sad being the only guy in the group cause i end up being bullied however i know its all for the fun of it. I have a policy, if people are happy because of me in any way. I will be glad to help.

I also had some Downturn in 2008 and most notably it has to be because of that particular person who came into my life and totally screwed it up.She came into my life screwed it up bigtime for me. I do not wish to elaborate as i have moved on from that incident, but it has also left a very sour taste cause my opinion on certain people will never change.

Other then all these i pretty much had an eventful 2008 and leaving it all behind and moving on to 2009, i only have certain concerns, thats is to finish up my Diploma with no Hiccups and also to wish for a happening 2009.

My adorable princess!!

My sister got discharged today form the hospital, that means my Niece is came home for the first time. All of us were waiting for the arrival of our little princess, at about 230 she comes home wrapped in a white sheet of blanket under the comfort of her mum's arm and as usual she was asleep. My godmum brought her and her parents into the prayer room to bless them and after that it was time to welcome the babym, according to the hindu tradition, all of us must take a small ounce of sweet water and feed it to the newborn and in the process we must say, " your uncle is feeding you this sweet water" and also dap the head with oil. It was my first time doing it and i was so excited.The little princess was then taken on a tour around the house and finally when i carried her, she urined on me.hahaha. what a way to say hello to her uncle ah. Oh and finally she managed to open her eyes, here are some more pictures of her.

For a newborn who is 4 days old, she sure do can strike a pose man, Very adorable eh.Finally she opened her eyes.oh i forgot to add. the moment she saw me she started crying.

A blast at sentosa

Yesterday was a blast man, was out with my ICC friends, went for a beah party at sentosa. although it was a tiring day cause of all the walking and all it was fun la. Was suppose to meet at 10 but ended up meeting at only 1 pm and it was only sanjay, lavanya sara and i who met up first, the rest??late as usual. We were at Siloso beach, boy sentosa does look a bit boring no due to all the renovations and constructions. there were barricades everywhere and it feels like sentosa has just lost it.Hopefully its only till all the constructions end.Here are some pictures from the day.



Oh btw, thats lavanya who is piggybacking on me, i tell you that girl really suits the phrase" as light as a feather", but she did not jump properly and in the process i was gasping for air. Oh and 1 more thing, she has given me a nickname(her orundea thalavani) a.k.a bolster. I sure do get a lot of nick names.

Well oh well, thanx to shereen, we got to take pictures with these girls from germany, we lied to them that we need to take a pic for our project just to take a pic with them and likewise they believed us and also gave us their camera to snap away with pictures. Sanjay, one hell of a lucky guy, sitted in between 2 girls.

Oh we were suppose too give the "heroes" pose but i have no clue what sinthiya is doing???

My precious one

Finally, my sister has given birth. She went through a 34 hour labor pain and gave birth to a very adorable baby girl. went to the hospital in the afternoon to visit my adorable niece, and one thing is for sure i will be a very protective uncle.( and of course a responsible one too). I just could not let go of her, i also helped my brother in law to change her pampers cause she pooped, and i cant wait to go to the hospital tomorrow to go visit her again. my sister and brother in law are fine too, although my sister looks very tired she still entertained all of us.haha.Here is the first picture of my sayang.Just look at her, isnt she completely cute. she was sleeping the whole time round and only woke up with occasionally when she was hungry. the way she was getting attention for food was also cute. she was like (wah wah)haha ok i dunno how to imitate her.My niece and her mum a.k.a my sister, see my sister is terribly tired.Aww. look at her giving me a high 5, love you alot.

Finally i got to carry her, she looks so tiny in my arms, and it doesn't help that i am big too.haha she was just so tiny in my arms and i could feel her tender skin. 1 thing is for sure i will be very protective over her cause i just love her alot.bye baby, see you tomorrow.

I'm Back

I'M BACK, it seems like ages since i last updated my blog which was on my birthday, My friends are also constantly telling me to update and all, i just don't seem to have the time with my drama shoot and all. Hahaha. Yes i am a celebrity(eunice and fana are gonna be like "whatever theeben and if you say so").lol. well i am kidding about the celebrity part however i am busy with all my drama shoots and all and its taking its toll on me.

Anyway exams finished like last week and i am pretty scared for my Bcomm paper, and the results are like coming out like next week, damn nervous man. Well the holiday has been pretty ok, went to a fun walk with my friends last saturday, organised by fana's mum's workplace. We walked all the way from harbourfront to Hort park near PSA, it was a fun and unique way to bond with my friends.Here are some pictures from the walk.

Alot of you might be wondering who is the gorgeous girl at the top of this entry, well its none other than my dear Sameera Reddy, before you people go like WTH read on. I went to watch Vaaranum Aayiram last week, it was an awesome movie and i fell in love with the heroine who happens to be Sameera Reddy, although she is not that kind that catches the attention of a person, she grows into you as the movie goes on, however she dies halfway through the movie( as part of her character role). But alas, kudos to her for a splendid performance.

Look at her people, isn't she gorgeous.

Happy Birthday Theeben!!

Hey guys, Yes i know its my birthday today and i had a blast in school, thanx to my dearest friends, Eunice, Fana, Nisa and Siraj, and also to Sangeetha, Sonia, Yao, Rey, Johnny, Aaron and many more its just too much people guys, no offends if your name is left out.

Well, the day started off as per normal just like any other day, i had business mathematics in the morning. Then during my break time, Siraj started playing mind games with me, asking me what i want as part of the prank. P.S bro its the one and only time you can make me stressed.Haha. *Hats off to you bro, i was impressed with all your stories to mess up my mind

After lesson ended at 1230, i tried with all my ability to evade siraj and co. but darn i could not. Siraj caught up with me and with a little bit of help from the rest, he got me to wait outside class while the rest of the guys planned for my surprise. As i was allowed into class after quite sometime, and when i entered class, to my surprise i saw 19 cupcakes and a memento with my pictures and all set up near the projection. It was a sweet surprise. I was really touched with the amount of effort my friends put in to celebrate my 22nd birthday.

Finally!!

All presentations and projects have ended, what a relieve, but this means exams are around the corner. Darn 3 more weeks to exams, 5 modules man, this is my make or break semester. i have to do it, and i have started studying for exams earlier. hahaha, this sem flew by with a blink of an eye, i guess its because of the 5 modules and also because the lessons are in the afternoon, haha. Soon i will starting semsester 3 and it seems like i jus ORD not long ago.

OKOK, i better get back to mugging. BYE

No more presentations

Finally our Business Communication presentation is over. Pheww, the presentation was good, kudos to my group mates who perserved through to enf the presentation with a bang, i would not have done this well without you guys. thanx people, anyway back to my MPO now which is due on wedneday.

Went to Fish & Co for dinner just now, it was michael's birthday, poor guy, his first birthday away from home. Hopefully we have made your day man. Ciaoz people.

What a day.

Pheww, what a day. A special thanx to Eunice for making my day "colourful", she scared the shit out of all of us, going MIA till 3pm, the best part is that we had to submit our Financial Accounting CA1 today, and the lecturer gave us till 3.30 pm to submit our project.

The day started with me going to school as usual, at about 1pm i called Eunice to ask her what time she will be reacing school, i could not get through to her phone, so i got Fana and Nisa to call her, they could not get through either. It was almost 130pm and lesson was about to start, I started panicking because not only did we have to submit our CA 1, this girl is also comes to school early and there was no sign of her. I went to the admin office and asked for help to locate her, they were unsuccessful too. I took a cab with fana and went home to take my laptop because i had a draft copy of the assignment in my notebook.

Upon reaching school, fana got a call from her mum saying that Eunice's phone is ringing, when we called and when she picked up, she said she overslept and woke up on at 3PM!!! I was super relieved. I was super worried for her safety and so did the rest. Eunice, please do not do it again ok.

Oh my god, can't a person act EMO once in a while, there I am trying to be emo and not because i am in love or not because there is any special person. Alright dear friends.

Secrets will be kept.

Sick!!

A very bad morning for me, I had to go to the doc and guess what?

I am down with a bad case of Influenza and if thats not good enough, i also have a slight fever.

I am still going to school as i have to hand in projects and all, but hopefully i can concentrate in class with a clear mind.

Theeben you are a Jerk.

Today ended well with me going to IMM with Eunice and Fana. Unfortunately the earlier part of the day was a bit screwed up.

I made someone cry because i behaved like a jerk, it doesn't matter even if she is wrong or i was wrong, being a gentleman i should have just dropped that matter, however i chose to show her attitude and we ended up having a quarrel. I just apologised and left it, but what was to follow through made my heart cringe.

I took a glance at her and saw her tears trickling down her reddish cheek, my heart sank immediately , my ego just flushed down that very moment, I tried my level best to cheer her up. She is truly a forgiving person, even though i was mean to her, she just said "its ok Theeben". If she had scolded me i would have felt better, but she chose to be nice and kept on saying nevermind, that me very guilty.

So before class started i went to the vending machine to get her favourite drink and chocolate, and wrote a small apology note on the chocolate box, when i gave it to her i felt a sense of relief as i saw her face glow, at that moment i knew that she forgived me. I have learnt that no matter how much you quarrel with your closr friends, never let the matter pursue to the extent where one ends up breaking down.

On my part, I will definitely improve as a better person. Once again, I am SORRY!!!

I can take a slight breather now.

Submitted MPO today, so thats 1 burden down another couple more to go.

Stress factor is getting to me, I can feel the intensity of the 5 modules creeping in slowly but surely, I had Biz Comm today, yet i was thinking about my MPO project which is due this thursday, yes, just 2 weeks after the new term started.Eunice asked me in class what happened to me cause i went to S**** during break, well this might sound stupid but its because of the pressure, I told certain people I will stop it, but its the 2nd time in 2 weeks, I better stop before the person loses her trust, am now thinking about the project for MPO, so will be back aite..

Business making in school..

I love you DMS, I have become business minded ever since I stepped into SIM,hahaha. Well, I just closed two business deals today, got my classmates to sell their MPO and Math textbook to a semester 1 student for 25 bucks and 30 bucks respectively, you know whats the best part, I earned $5 commission for every deal closed.haha.Anway, I got a few more orders just got placed today and i need to get the stock by monday so that I can close more deals..*Cheeky laughter.

Lets all appreciate our lives

First and foremost, I would like to apologise to those who find this offensive. I have been feeling down for the past few hours due to some personal problems. As I was sitting down and thinking about my life, I began to realise how lucky we are, We have shelter to seek comfort in, food to eat whenever we want and families and friends to turn to in need of times, however have we ever for once tought about these people who come from poverty stricken and poor countries, while most of us have fashionable lives and all, these people literally live from hand to mouth. Its very sad for a matter of fact because while we all live in minimum of 4 room flats, these people have got to squeeze their entire family in to that uncomfortable squatter. When i see this sort of people I badly want to help,but can I?
Have we ever for once thought that as kids we will have to beg and all?No!!and that is because we have our parents to support us and to make sure we have the correct upbringing, look at the kid in the above picture, barely 5 years old and is already made to beg with his baby brother cuddled under a dirty blanket, it sad to realise that there are parents out there who makes their child beg.I for once really am appreciating my life because, no matter the amount of pain my mum has gone through as a single parent she has never for once made me feel that way, she has always provided me with the necessary needs in life so that i can prosper,she is living her life for me and it is definitely right for me to do the same for her. So to all you youngsters out there, a piece of advice, treasure what you have in life, consider ourselves lucky that we don't live in situations like those in the pictures above and the most important thing of all, treasure your parents who brought you into thie world.

I am definitely feeling much better now, even though my problem is not relevant to what i blogged about, I definitely feel better.

Hectic week ahead!!

Tomorrow I will officially start 1 whole week of school, 5 modules man, and the shit part is that i gotta submit my MPO individual project the week after next,damn fast sia..Hopefully i dun get the same lecturer for maths like last term,if not I am definitely gonna cry..Haha..

Pheww!!!What a day, went back to school after a month of break. It was nice to see my classmates after a long time man.Haha..Unfortunately I have to do 5 modules this semester as my appeal was unsuccessful, so I had to attend MPO lessons this morning AGAIN, different lecturer this time though, saw the 24th intake semester 1 students, boy must i sat that there were cute girls in the class.Hahaha, thats not important.Lecture was ok la, i have done it before so i see no reason to struggle.In the afternoon i had my 2nd sem module Financial Accounting, I thought the lesson was quite understandable ah, i probably guess its cause i have done accounting before in secondary school.The lecturer was a bit naggy though, in the sense that we were not allowed to use our handphone in class to answer our calls and all. I also realise today that i was dating this classmate of mine before i came to SIM, or thats wat she claims.Hahaha,poor girl just needs some attention i guess, neither have I have never spoken to her in my time in SIM nor do i know her before and yet she says that the both of us dated??What can i say??.haha.To sum it all up i can say that it was a damn tiring day and now i am looking forward to the comfort of my bed.

Awaiting Appeal Results!!

First things first, how on earth did i fail my MPO and Business Mathematics??Especially my MPO, there is no way i could have failed that.Haiz wat can i do now,jusat wait for the appeal results to be out, see if my grades are overturned by the exam committee(highly unlikely),anywayz i might just repeat the whole of sem 1 instead of struggling through 5 modules next sem..I also want to thank Eunice and Sonia personally.They checked on me constantly till friday atleast,nice to know that i have friends who care.,haha.So guys if I decide to repeat the whole sem i would definitely miss all of ya'll, even though i knew u guys for three months it was the best three months.(EUNICE,JOHNNY,FANA,FIONETTE,RAHUL,YASH,JESSICA,ABISHEK,MICHAEL,SIRAJ,SONIA AND SANGEETHA).Take care guys, dun forget me..

Results out tomorrow!!!

My long awaited exam results will be released tomorrow at 5PM!! WTH man, it was stated in the exam slip that the results will be released at 12PM, but now i have to freaking wait till 5pm.You know wats the best part, i have work, so technically i only can check my results at 11pm.NO!!! i wan check it asap..

Shit man,now i am dead nervous on how my grades are gonna be, I have confidence that i will pass, but will i score??Thats the main thing,only god knows my fate, all I can do now is wait, wats done is done.

My Routine Orders during holidays!!

Shucks man, I was looking forward to the hols after my exam, now that i am on holidays its so bloody boring its also cause most of my frens are in NS, i can't wait to start school.My daily routine are as follows.

• Monday: Wake up at around 11am, after shower, will switch on my laptop and hog on it(playing game) till 5 pm, after which i will shower and go to work,will reach home at about 1030pm, shower, switch on the TV and start channel surfing and will hit the bed at about 1am.
• Tuesday: SAME AS ABOVE
• Wednesday: SAME AS ABOVE(Will hit the gym instead of work)
• Thursday: SAME AS ABOVE
• Friday: SAME AS ABOVE(Will hit the gym instead of work)
• Saturday: Phew, finally I finally get to leave home, I will go for my Dragon Boat training, Training will end at about 4pm, Will than go for dinner with my fellow rowers and thereafter for coffee,my day ends with treating myself to a movie on my laptop.
• Sunday:Its family day, will head to my god mum's house and spend my entire day there, watching movies, just slacking at home with them.We will head down to the hawker centre for dinner,after which i will head home and prepare my self for another week of the same

Very boring routine of mind,arrghh, can't wait for school to start..

Poor Old Folks

Whilst I was working today, this old man came into the store and asked me for a cream called "XY". I think u guys muz be wondering now "wat the hell is a XY", fret not, i had the same reaction.Since i am pretty new to my work place,I asked this female colleague of mine to show the old man where the "XY" is and she did but she was kinda blushing, when i asked her wat "XY" was, she told me to read it myself. So i walked over to where the cream was and read the instruction, i literally laughed out loud when i read what was its purpose and also understood why my colleague was blushing.The cream was a lubricant for men, I do not wish to elaborate further as i think its a very bad thing to do but I felt like blogging abt this, anyway I just hope that the old man who bought it maximised the usage of the cream.hahaha.

Is the world really ending??

Have been hearing from people that the world is abt to end today,as i am blogging about this i was told that there is excatly 55 more minutes for the world to end.All i can say is,people from all walks of life,please confess whatever u have kept in your heart(applicable to those who believe).For those of ya'll who dun believe,good, cause i dun believe too, but i felt like blogging abt this..hahaha..World's gonna end!!To whomever who came up with this rumour,Try harder next time..PEACE

Wat a hectic 2 days(Part 2)

I woke up at 2.30 PM today,first time in my life that i have slept till this late,well basically i was slacking at home for the whole day.Since i was at home, I decided to be a good boy and do some household chores.I swept the house,mopped it and washed the laundry,*will make a perfect house husband.hahaha.6pm i left to the gym,went to train on my Biceps,Triceps and Chest today.I have to hit full force soon, have got a Dragon Boat competition in 2 weeks time,need to beef up for that man..haha.That was basically wat i did today..

Wat A Hectic 2 days!!(Part 1)

OMG where do i start, no entry for yesterday, cause i was like super duper busy, went back to work after 2 whole weeks,(took a break due to exams).One thing for sure,Singaporeans are really a bunch of people who are damn hard to please,we had this promotion going on, and there was this customer who was hanginig around in the shop for like 30 minutes after she bought her stuff.You know why?cause she wanted to check her receipt with our system for wat products she gets a discount,*damn pekchek sia.haha,after work went to the gym,it felt so good man hitting the gym after a very long time.Was in the gym for abt 2 hours.After i got home i really wanted to rest,but that was not abt to be,my very good friend Gowri called me,and we went for dinner at Newton,little did I realise that she is so impatient,she was at Newton station much earlier than me.P.S she came from work, and i was at home, when she called,technically i was 10 minutes late in that 10 minutes she sent me a text every single minute.Woah,i just felt like strangling her.Haha..We had a seafood.It was good meeting up with her after ages,after dinner we left to go back home,and as usual my day must always end after a bit of quarrell VIA MSN with Eunice.haha,not really a quarrel though,just disturbing one another.

Wat a day!!!, went back to work after two weeks.haha.It was good seeing all my colleagues again,the best part of the day is yet to be typed, when i got home i decided to call up my friend,Sasha, she was going on about how she wans to get out of a relationship cause she is afraid her boyfriend will leave her when he goes to poly, she is one crazy cute girl, however, i was not abt to let that happen.So Dr.love A.K.A Theeben steps in and advised her and i think i did a terrifis job in convincing her to stay on with the relationship.I am so proud of myself man..hahaha,*poser sia..So people out there any problems, just buzz Dr.Love..Ciaoz

Cycling trip with classmates.

Friday, its was the day after exams, Johnny and I planned for a cycling trip for the whole class.The reason for this was cause, my class has been divided into two groups,the right side of the class and the left side of the class.So everything was planned out according to plan,however on the day of the cycling trip,the people i least expected stood me up.haiz,was disappointed,but still decided to go ahead with the cycling.Little did i know that it would still turn out to be a awesome night,even though only 14 out of 150 students in my class went,we had lots of fun.We also got to know one another even better,posted above are some pictures from the cycling trip,anyway,for the next class outing we have decided to go ice skating.Hopefully,this time round the response would be great.Till my next entry.See ya people.
